UEFA Coefficient Table: Ukraine Surpasses Russia and Now Ranks 27th

As a result of the European Cup week, Ukraine has improved its position in the UEFA coefficient table.

Recall that last Tuesday, in the qualification for the Champions League, Kyiv’s “Dynamo” defeated Maltese “Hamrun Spartans” (3:0), and on Thursday, three more representatives of Ukraine played their European cup matches: in the qualification for the Europa League, Donetsk’s “Shakhtar” triumphed over Turkish “Besiktas” (4:2), while in the qualification for the Conference League, Zhytomyr’s “Polesie” and “Alexandria” suffered defeats — from “Santa Coloma” of Andorra (1:2) and Belgrade’s “Partizan” (0:2) respectively.

As a result, Ukraine moved up from 28th to 27th place in the UEFA coefficient table, surpassing Russia.

It is important to note that the final UEFA coefficient table this season will determine the representation of countries in European cups for the 2027/28 season.
