Barcelona right-back Jules Koundé has agreed to extend his employment contract with the Catalan club until June 2030, reports journalist Fabrizio Romano on social media platform X.
According to the source, Manchester City showed interest in the 26-year-old footballer, however, the Frenchman expressed a desire to remain in the ranks of the "blue-granate" team.
It is worth reminding that Koundé transferred to Barcelona from Sevilla in the summer of 2022. Last season, he participated in 53 matches across all competitions, in which he scored four goals and provided eight assists.
