Liverpool striker Hugo Ekitike commented on his decision to join the Merseyside club.
"I am very, very proud. It is clear that Liverpool is a great club. I am just excited and feel a bit like a kid. I have dreamed of coming and playing in the Premier League. And I have a really good feeling about doing it at Liverpool. I just can’t wait to start playing matches and winning."
I think this was the right moment. I came to the Bundesliga hungry, I wanted to show that I am a good player and can make a difference on the field. I think I had a good last season. Now I feel ready to take a step forward. So I think this was the right time for me to move here," Ekitike is quoted by Liverpool’s press service.
It is worth reminding that the "Reds" paid £79 million for the transfer of the French striker.
