Yuri Romensky (1952) - a former football player who played as a goalkeeper. Born in Migeciaur and took his first football steps at the local "Zvezdochka" football school. Best known for his performances with Kiev’s Dynamo. Two-time champion of the USSR. He played 5 matches for the USSR national team. Recently worked as a goalkeeping coach for Kiev’s "Dynamo".
Anatoliy Trubin (2001) - a Ukrainian footballer, goalkeeper for Portuguese "Benfica" and the Ukrainian national team. Trubin is a graduate of the Donetsk "Shakhtar" academy. He has also played for the Ukrainian youth teams U-17, U-18, and U-19, as well as the Ukraine U-21 team.
Bastian Schweinsteiger (1984) - a former German midfielder who ended his playing career with American "Chicago Fire". A graduate of Munich’s "Bayern". Eight-time champion and holder of the German Cup. Winner of the Champions League. Twice in a row became a bronze medalist at the World Cups. Winner of the 2014 World Cup.
