The famous Ukrainian coach Myron Markevych expressed his opinion on the battle for the gold medals in the Ukrainian championship for the 2025/2026 season.
“The main competition for the trophy will be between ‘Dynamo’ and ‘Shakhtar’. Whoever shows themselves better over the distance will become the champion. I currently don’t see an obvious favorite. The lack of transfers at ‘Dynamo’? Well, at least they haven’t lost anyone. Of course, the team needs reinforcements, especially in defense.
From the first matches, I liked Shakhtar’s team. There are noticeable changes in their play, better physical condition, and commitment on the field. The Brazilians have performed very well in the first matches of the season. So far, Shakhtar’s game is promising,” Markevych said.
