Former Khust defender Mykola Syrosh, who was mobilized to the Armed Forces of Ukraine in May 2024, has been declared for Kyiv’s "Lokomotyv" for the 2025/2026 season.
According to the PFL, Syrosh became a player of "Lokomotyv" on August 1, 2025, and his contract with the team is valid until the summer of 2026.
"Lokomotyv" will compete in the second league in the 2025/2026 season. Today, August 3, the team will play its first round match against "Diniz".
In May last year, Syrosh was detained by representatives of the TCK right at the station. After his detention, the club appealed to UAF asking to address the situation, but they responded that they were not authorized to influence mobilization processes in Ukraine.
In August of the same year, it became known that the 26-year-old defender was undergoing military training at the "Desna" center and was later sent to the front.
