The midfielder of Polesje Aleksandr Andriyevskiy shared his impressions of the clash with "Santa Coloma" in the qualification for the Conference League in a comment to the club’s press service.
— I am very happy that "Polesje" achieved its first victory in European cups — this is very important. And the fact that we have already brought some points for our country — we worried a lot about this, because it is very important for us right now, and we need to continue like this.

— I know that some guys watched experts and so on, but I don’t listen — both when we play well and when we play poorly. For me, it’s better to be emotionally balanced, it’s easier not to listen to it.
— Why was the game with "Santa Coloma" so difficult?
— To be honest, if you look at how they played the first qualification against a very strong opponent, I wouldn’t say this is some kind of weak team or anything like that. Having watched those four matches — they control the ball very well, they do it very confidently. I think if we had more confidence in our abilities, like they do — that’s one thing that distinguishes us. I believe we have much more quality, but we need to add to our confidence.
— The goal you scored added some confidence: that we wouldn’t let this game go. But how was it from the inside?
— Right after the first half, the head coach said that we had few passes into the penalty area, and why we don’t make them. Make the passes — and then we’ll ask: why aren’t our players there, let’s ask them. I heard this, and thought: I’d better make a run, so later I wouldn’t be asked about it.
