Newcomer to “Milan” Luka Modric compared the Italian club to Madrid’s “Real”.
“I spent 13 years in the best club in the world, and now I am moving to one that in previous years was what today’s Madrid ‘Real’ is. They have taken a wrong turn somewhere. ‘Milan’ should strive to return to this level. I aim to help this year in any way I can and to enjoy the game,” Modric is quoted as saying by the Croatian publication 24sata.
