Former well-known Ukrainian goalkeeper Andrei Tlumak made a prediction for the qualification match of the Conference League between Polesie and Pakash, which will take place on August 7 in Prešov, Slovakia.
“For the players of ‘Polesie’, the general rehearsal was the match in the UPL against ‘Karpaty’ in Lviv. The guests made a strong impression with their intensity and well-organized play. It was felt that the players from Polesie are progressing, although it might be because, unlike ‘Karpaty’, they had to accelerate their sporting form due to participation in the Conference League.
As for my assessment of ‘Polesie’s’ chances in the match against the Hungarian club, which does not hide its intention to play defensively? Much will depend on whether Ruslan Rotan’s team can score a quick goal. If they do, ‘Pakash’ will open up, and the chances of scoring again will increase. I tend to believe that ‘Polesie’ will advance further thanks to a more balanced squad and a variety of actions,” said Tlumak.
