Bournemouth has resumed negotiations to sign Lille central defender Bafode Diakite, as Ukrainian Ilya Zabarnyi transfers to Paris Saint-Germain for €67 million.
The Cherries had previously declined negotiations with Lille over a £35 million price tag for the 24-year-old player. However, after agreements with PSG regarding Zabarnyi, they have rekindled their interest in the Frenchman. Diakite himself has already agreed to the terms of a five-year contract, but negotiations between the clubs over the price are ongoing.
