— Today, players who had little playing time before got their chance. How do you evaluate their play as captain?

— To evaluate the players’ performance, there is a head coach and his staff. I can only comment on the result: the team is satisfied. The head coach and his assistants will evaluate each player. So I won’t talk about individual players. It would be inappropriate.

— You scored a goal today. You are scoring again in the UPL. What does this mean for you?

— It’s a joy to score and wear the Kyiv "Dynamo" jersey. It’s always nice for me.

— After the match with "Paphos" in the Champions League qualifiers, you apparently traveled to Lviv in a subdued mood?

— I wouldn’t say we were subdued. Yes, we were unhappy with the result, we didn’t convert some moments, we conceded at the end of the match. But this is just the first leg: everything will be decided in Cyprus in the return match.

— Everything that you didn’t score against "Paphos", you scored against "Rukh" today?

— No, we still had moments. True, in the first half there were chances for "Rukh": in those episodes, we needed to be more focused in defense. But football consists of mistakes. The main thing is not to make the mistakes we made today or in previous matches in our future games.

— The upcoming return match with "Paphos" is mega-important. What do you say about it within the team?

— Every time, the Kyiv "Dynamo" players approach every match as if it were their last—no matter if it’s a friendly match. So you must perform your best in any match and always be focused at 200%. Because you play for Kyiv "Dynamo" and everyone gears up against you as if it’s the last game.
