— Psychologically, it has certainly become easier, because after the failure (last Tuesday, Dynamo lost 0:1 to Cyprus' Paphos in the first match of the 3rd qualifying round of the Champions League, — ed.) you always want to rehabilitate as soon as possible, win, show yourself well, demonstrate good quality of play. Therefore, undoubtedly, today’s victory is just a plus for us, a great advantage before the meeting in Cyprus.
— Today there were two quite different halves. In the first half, you scored only once, and after the break you scored four goals. Did Rukh crumble so much in the second half, or did you add so much?
— I can’t say anything about Rukh, I can only evaluate how we played. In the second half, we scored an early goal, and psychologically, after 2:0, it became easier — we started to play faster, more freely, that’s why we got such a result.
— Today, the head coach of the Ukrainian national team, Serhiy Rebrov, was at the match. How important is it for young players that the national team coach is watching those who could potentially make it to the national team?
— Of course, this is very important, but now we are in the club’s camp, so the most important thing is to secure results for Dynamo and show good quality of play.
— Do you already understand how you need to play against Paphos in the return match of the Champions League qualification?
— We have analyzed it, and I can say that we are ready, but I cannot disclose any tactical settings from the coaching staff. You will see everything when the game is on.
