English club Sunderland has officially announced the signing of Getafe defender Omar Alderete.
According to Sky Sports, Sunderland paid £10.4 million for the transfer of Alderete. The contract with the player is signed until the summer of 2029. Thus, Omar Alderete has become the eleventh newcomer for the Black Cats during the summer transfer window.
Earlier, Sunderland announced the signing of Habib Diallo, Simon Adingra, Enzo Le Fée, Shemsdin Talbi, Noah Sadiki, Granit Xhaka, Arthur Masuaku, Rainy Manda, and Marc Guéhi.
