According to the publication L’Équipe, Russian PSG goalkeeper Matviy Safonov wishes to continue his performances with the Paris club.
According to the source, Safonov does not intend to leave PSG, as he wants to compete for a place in the main lineup of the team after the departure of Gianluigi Donnarumma. Now his competitor will be newcomer Luka Chevalier.
At the same time, it is known that there are two conditions under which Safonov would still leave PSG. The first: if the management of the Paris club directly asks him to do so. The second: if an offer comes from a European top club where he would be the main goalkeeper.
Recall that earlier there was information that one of the conditions for Ukrainian Illia Zabarnyi during negotiations with PSG was that the team should part ways with Russian Safonov, whose contract with the Parisians is until 2029.
