Midfielder of Kyiv’s “Dynamo” Anton Tsarenko, who is on loan at the Polish “Lechia” from Gdańsk, suffered a serious injury that will keep him out for several weeks.
The 21-year-old midfielder has groin issues, which is why he has not been included in the last two matches of his current team. Moreover, according to the head coach of “Lechia”, John Carver, the Ukrainian may need surgery.
“We are still waiting for a final decision regarding Tsarenko. He is facing either a long break or surgery. It will take a long time before he returns. This is bad for me, for the entire team, and, first and foremost, for Anton. We will do everything to ensure he comes back as soon as possible,” said Carver during his last press conference.
