Liverpool winger Federico Chiesa shared his impressions of his debut goal in the English championship during the match against Bournemouth (4:2).
“My first thought after scoring was about Diogo, his brother, and their family. It was such an emotional evening, so the end of the game was very emotional. Diogo helped me from above by guiding the ball over the line. I want to believe that’s exactly how it happened.
I came here and faced many difficulties because the pace is completely different, but after a year, I finally scored my first goal in the Premier League. I play for one of the best teams in the world. I just need to wait and be ready, like I was this evening, and prove that I can play for this team,” Chiesa said to Sky Sport Italia.
