Manchester City midfielder Tijani Reinders shared his emotions after the victory in the opening match of the English Championship against Wolverhampton (4:0).
"It is very nice to start with a goal and an assist, especially in the Premier League — that’s what you dream of. It couldn’t have gone better. In the first match of the season, you don’t know what will happen or how the opponent will play, and we managed pretty well.
I am learning a lot. I have gained a new vision of how to play football. For me, the main thing is to adapt quickly and try to show my best every time. I like the intensity of the team in training.
Last season, Manchester City did not win the Premier League, and that is our main goal. We all know what we want, and we are determined to achieve that goal. You know what great names have been in this club, and for me, it was a pride to join City," quotes Reinders BBC Sport.
