Defender Ilya Zabarnyi wanted Russian footballer Matvei Safonov to leave the Paris club before his transfer to PSG.
As reported by Vipsg.fr, during negotiations, PSG representatives told Zabarnyi that Safonov would indeed remain in the team. However, this information ultimately did not affect the final decision of the Ukrainian defender to join the Parisians.
It is also known that currently there is no communication between Zabarnyi and Safonov in the team— the Ukrainian completely ignores the Russian.
