Forward Alexander Isaac lashed out at "Newcastle," accusing his club of breaking promises.

Isaac did not attend the awards ceremony of the Professional Footballers Association on Tuesday evening, despite being nominated for Player of the Year and making it to the symbolic team of the English Premier League.

“I am not present at the ceremony tonight. Given what is happening, I do not feel it is right to be there.

I have remained silent for quite a long time while others spoke. Silence allowed people to show their version of events, even though they knew it did not reflect things that were said and agreed upon behind closed doors.

The reality is that promises were made, and the club has long known my position. Pretending that these nuances have only arisen now is merely misleading. When promises are broken and trust is lost, relationships cannot continue,” Isaac wrote on his Instagram page.
