— No impressions from the defeat. These are some internal issues, it’s hard to say, many guys who aren’t putting in the effort. I understand that they are being asked to do this, but they don’t do it. There’s a lack of effort, lack of running, no charge for victory. This affects the result.

— Why couldn’t Dynamo hold a draw after the red card? It doesn’t seem like the team tried to play compactly in defense.

— Probably just ordinary defensive mistakes, that’s all. They conceded simple goals that became important for the other team.

— In your opinion, is Dynamo now closer in level to the Europa League or the Conference League?

— When you watch the matches of Ukrainian teams in European competitions, you see that the Ukrainian championship is not at that level to compete equally with opponents in European competitions.

— Does this Dynamo have a chance to turn the tide against Maccabi?

— Of course, they do. If they want to, they’ll do everything.

— Many critics have directed their ire at Shovkovskiy, particularly calls for his dismissal. What do you think, can he rectify the situation? What do you think about this?

— I wish Vladimirovich all the best, that the team wins and moves forward; it is within their capabilities.
