Tottenham head coach Thomas Frank spoke about Jürgen Klopp's influence on his tactical scheme after defeating Manchester City (2:0) in the second round match of the English championship.

I need to write Klopp a message and say, ‘Your vision of football is incredibly intelligent.’ I definitely believe in aggressive pressing, as you saw today, as you saw with my team Brentford. You know, I believe in high pressing, I believe that we can be ahead. I like that mentality. I think it’s a more offensive way of defending, and then it’s more interesting to defend in the opponent’s half of the field, and of course, because of that, we managed to score a goal from there,” Frank is quoted by Goal.
