Benfica is conducting intensive negotiations with Shakhtar regarding the transfer of midfielder Georgiy Sudakov, reports Ojogo.
According to the source, in recent hours the parties have made significant progress in negotiations. Benfica has offered 25 million euros for Sudakov, stating that this price could increase to 27 million euros. Shakhtar, which had previously wanted 40 million euros for their player, has already agreed to lower their price.
It is also known that goalkeeper Anatoliy Trubin has helped convince Sudakov to move to Benfica, as he has a long-standing friendship with the Shakhtar midfielder.
