The previous year’s experience of the Brazilian on loan in the Spanish league convinced him to return to the Andalusian club. From the very beginning, Antony made it clear to the “Red Devils” that he only sees Betis as his next career move.

According to The Telegraph, the 25-year-old footballer rejected offers from leading clubs in Europe and is awaiting the completion of negotiations between Betis and Manchester United. Currently, the clubs are discussing a paid loan of the player with an option for future purchase.

In the last season, Antony played 26 matches for Betis across all competitions, scoring 9 goals and providing 5 assists.
