UEFA’s press service has announced a change in the regulations for the Champions League final.
It is reported that starting from this season, the final match of the most prestigious club tournament in the world will begin at 18:00 (19:00 Kyiv time), instead of 21:00 (22:00 Kyiv time), as it was previously.
Among the reasons for this decision, UEFA cites improved logistics for teams and fans, more opportunities for families and children to attend the main match, better access to public transport, and a safer and more convenient return journey from the stadium, as well as a positive economic impact for the host cities, allowing fans to continue the celebrations.
Recall that the Champions League final for the 2025/2026 season will take place in Budapest at the Puskas Arena on May 30, 2026.
