Forward of the Ukrainian national team Vladislav Vanat commented on his transfer from Kyiv’s “Dynamo” to the Spanish “Girona”.
“I have good feelings, it’s a great opportunity for me to join this club, and I am very happy. I watched many matches of ‘Girona’ because many Ukrainian footballers played here, and I talked to them.
For example, Viktor Tsygankov told me: “Join me at ‘Girona’. At his time, he was one of the leaders at ‘Dynamo’, and I heard important supportive words from him. And now he wrote to me: “Come to me, we will play together”.
I think that currently, the level of football in Ukraine is not the highest because we have a war, and in such a situation, it’s hard to play. On the other hand, new clubs and good teams are emerging. I think that in two to three years, everything will get better.
As for my qualities, I am a fast player and can score many goals. I love to make runs behind the defenders and help the team: providing assists and scoring in every match.
I think the Spanish league is the best option for me. Here the football is technical, so this is the right choice. Girona fans! I am happy to be here and will do everything possible to help the team win every match,” Vanat said in a comment to the press service of “Girona”.
