The national team of Ukraine held its first training session during the gathering dedicated to preparing for the starting matches of the 2026 World Cup qualifiers — against France (September 5, Wrocław) and Azerbaijan (September 9, Baku).
The session began under rain, but the weather improved later on. The players under the guidance of Serhiy Rebrov worked in a lighter mode in several groups. Some players focused on recovery exercises, while others participated in gameplay drills.
Today, preparation will continue as planned. Tomorrow, September 4, the blue-and-yellow team will head to Wrocław, where traditional pre-match activities will be held at “Tarczynski Arena Wrocław.” At 18:45 CET, head coach of the Ukrainian national team Serhiy Rebrov and one of the players will begin communicating with journalists, and at 19:30 CET, a training session at the stadium will start (the first 15 minutes will be open to the media).
