Tottenham announced on its official website that Daniel Levy has resigned as president of the club.
Levy has been in charge of the London club since March 2001. Last season, the Spurs ended their 17-year trophy drought by winning the Europa League.
I am incredibly proud of the work I have done alongside the management team and all our staff. We have transformed this club into a global heavyweight that competes at the highest level.
I have been fortunate to work with the biggest names in the sport—from directors to players and coaches.
I would like to thank all the fans who have supported me throughout these years. This adventure has not always been easy, but we have made significant progress. I will continue to passionately support the club,” Levy stated.
