West Ham is considering Coventry coach Frank Lampard as a candidate for the team’s head coach position.
As reported by Football Insider, the management of the Hammers is disappointed with the team’s results under Graham Potter. Although in the last round of the English Premier League, West Ham thrashed Nottingham (3:0), after this match, club representatives reached out to Lampard through intermediaries.
It is worth noting that Lampard took over Coventry in November 2024, inheriting a team just two points above the relegation zone, but was able to finish the season in fifth place in the Championship. In the new Championship season, Coventry is the highest-scoring team in the division, having scored 14 goals in four matches.
