Over the past three years, we have reached the Champions League final twice. We had a great run, but in the last match, we were constantly missing something to achieve our goal — winning the Champions League.
We understood that PSG was a strong opponent and a reliable team. But we were strong too. The last week, we prepared in a calm atmosphere, with a feeling of peace and confidence. So yes, the word “helplessness” is the most accurate description of our feelings, because we couldn’t execute anything we had worked on. We just couldn’t transfer that to the field, and that frustrated us the most,” said Lautaro Martínez.
