PSG forward Ousmane Dembélé, who previously played for Barcelona, recalled the emotions of joining the Catalan club in 2017. The Frenchman played for the "blue-granats" until the summer of 2023.

At 20, you find yourself in the Barcelona dressing room with all the stars, with all the players you dreamed of playing with. It was just incredible.
Then I had to adapt. For three or four years, I was unlucky due to injuries. When you can play, you have to adapt. When it was impossible, you had to stay strong. But I was doing what I loved and playing for the club of my dreams — Barcelona. It was not easy, but after three or four years, the situation improved significantly,” Dembélé is quoted by FourFourTwo.
