In the September matches of the 2026 World Cup qualifiers, three footballers made their debut for the Ukrainian national team, all of whom played their first matches for the blue and yellow in the game against France (0:2).
In the 82nd minute of the meeting in Wroclaw, Shakhtar Donetsk midfielders Artem Bondarenko and Oleg Ocheretko took to the field at the Tarczyński Arena Wroclaw, while Dynamo Kyiv midfielder Nazar Voloshyn came on in the 87th minute.
Thus, 16 footballers have now made their debut for the Ukrainian national team under the guidance of Serhiy Rebrov.
