Ukrainian midfielder of «Barcelona U-18»: «I want to grow to the first team and win as many trophies as possible with it»

15-year-old Ukrainian Artem Rybak, who plays for the youth team of «Barcelona», commented on the victory at the U-18 club World Championship. It is worth reminding that in the final match, the Catalans defeated «Racing» (1:0), and Rybak scored the decisive goal.

— What emotions do you have after this goal and victory? What did your teammates say after the win?

— Wonderful emotions, I am extremely happy to help the team and score an important goal in such a final. After the game, everyone congratulated each other and was very happy that we won. The tournament is very strong, worthy opponents, and everyone in the team made efforts towards this victory.

— How do the coaches of «La Masia» evaluate your progress over the years at the club? How would you assess it yourself?

— I can’t speak for the coaches; you need to ask them. From my perspective, I like everything very much, and I feel that I have improved in many aspects of the game over these years.

— What are your plans, dreams, and ambitions for the future — both short-term and for your career in general?

— My nearest plans: to perform well in the championship with the club and achieve good results with the national team. In the future, I want to grow to the first team. And I dream of winning as many trophies as possible with it.
