Eight legionnaires from six UPL clubs played for their national teams in September

Two players successfully traveled to their national teams. Midfielder of "Kolos" Nika Hahnidze scored a goal in the qualifying match for World Cup 2026 between the national teams of Georgia and Bulgaria. The accurate shot from the player of the Kyiv team helped the Georgians win by a score of 3:0.

The midfielder of "Kryvbas" Bar Lin was part of the Israel U-21 national team, which played two matches in the Euro U-21 qualifying tournament. In the first game against the Bosnia and Herzegovina U-21 team (0:0), Lin was not on the roster of the Israeli team, while in the second match against the Netherlands U-21 (2:2) he came on as a substitute in the 78th minute and scored the decisive goal in the first minute of added time, finding the net against the "Oranges".

It is worth noting the call-up of "Shakhtar" defender Aalaa Gram to the national team of Tunisia. He did not participate directly in the World Cup 2026 qualifying matches against Liberia (3:0) and Equatorial Guinea (1:0)—he remained on the bench for both matches. However, even without the "miner," the Tunisian national team won twice and secured a spot in the final tournament of the World Cup.
