Today marks the 50th anniversary of former football player and now senior coach of the youth team of FC Dynamo Kyiv Ihor Kostyuk. On behalf of the club and all the Dynamo family, the jubilarian is congratulated by the president of Dynamo, Ihor Surkis.

A Kyiv native, one of the most talented graduates of the Dynamo Youth Sports School, who learned in the famous class of Oleksandr Shpakov, you confidently decided from an early age to tie your life path to the game of millions and achieved success along this path. A significant portion of these fifty years has been devoted to Kyiv’s Dynamo, making a name for yourself and earning the respect and authority of your colleagues and mentees.
Now your name is inextricably linked to the upbringing of future generations of talented Ukrainian footballers. In this endeavor, you have achieved significant success, repeatedly leading the Dynamo youth team to gold medals in Ukraine, as well as successfully guiding it on the European Cup path, glorifying the Dynamo academy, which is regarded as one of the most successful in the world. Many players who have passed through your team have strengthened the first team of Dynamo and the Ukrainian national team, while many play in various UPL clubs, and the most talented play in top European leagues. In these successes, a huge role is played by your coaching talent and ability to guide players who are just at the beginning of their long football journey in the right direction.
I wish you inexhaustible energy, patience, and luck on the challenging coaching path and of course, victories! May your talented protégés continue to enhance the glory of Kyiv’s Dynamo and all of Ukrainian football! Strong health, well-being, and happiness to you and your loved ones!
