Inter’s right-back Denzel Dumfries assessed the team’s chances of winning this year’s Champions League campaign.
“We lost two out of three matches, it’s not the start we wanted, but we have a lot of experience, and we want to return to good form.
This is a different tournament, we need to start strong, and it all depends on us. We need to prove our ability. Looking at the game against Juventus, we conceded goals too easily, so we’ve been working on that and telling ourselves we must improve.
We play in the Champions League to win. We have a great squad, but for me, it’s not about performing better than last year. We are a great club, and we can win the Champions League, but it’s a tough competition, and we will have to give our all,” Dumfries is quoted by Football Italia.
