The «Trifoglio» has started searching for a new coach after the resignation of Rui Vitória, while Christos Kontis is temporarily performing the duties of head coach for the upcoming matches. At the same time, the club management is negotiating with foreign specialists, and the main target of Panathinaikos at the moment is indeed Serhii Rebrov.
The 51-year-old specialist currently has a contract with the Ukrainian national team (valid until July 2026), and he also simultaneously holds the position of vice-president of UAF. Initial contacts have already taken place, and the parties are looking for a way for him to terminate his work with the national team early and move to Greece.
