The head coach of the Ukrainian national team, Serhiy Rebrov, responded to rumors that he could become the new head coach of Athens' Panathinaikos.
— Mr. Serhiy Stanislavovych, Greek media are writing that Panathinaikos is interested in you and that you could become the new coach of this club. Is this true?
— You should ask them, the Greek journalists, what they are writing. I have a current contract with the Ukrainian Football Association, how can I negotiate with another club? It’s all rumors.
— Would you be interested in a position with Panathinaikos? After all, it’s a grand club of Greek football, prestigious?
— I am interested in working with the Ukrainian national team.
