According to «TaToTake», a service investigation has been opened at UAF based on the refereeing decisions in the 5th round of the Ukrainian championship.
Referees Oleksiy Derevinsky («Metalist 1925» — «Shakhtar») and Denys Shurman («Obolon» — «Dynamo») were summoned to the ethics and fair play committee. Both referees provided their explanations regarding decisions deemed erroneous by the Committee of Referees.
Discussions are also being held with the referees, VAR assistants, and technical staff who worked on the matches. The collection of testimonies, comments, and other procedural measures is ongoing.
It is worth noting that both referees will not serve as main referees in round 6. Shurman has been appointed as a VAR assistant for the LNZ — «Rukh» match. Derevinsky has not received any appointment at all.
