Famous German defender Jérôme Boateng announced the end of his professional career.
“Football has given me a lot, but now it’s time to move on,” said the 37-year-old footballer in a video message on his Instagram page.
It should be added that Boateng’s last club was Austrian LASK, where he played from July 2024 to August 2025. He gained the most fame while playing for Bayern Munich, with which he became a 9-time champion of Germany, a 5-time winner of the DFB-Pokal, and a 2-time winner of the Champions League.
