"We started the game wonderfully, very aggressively. We were extremely aggressive in winning second balls. Then Casemiro was sent off; we always like to complicate our game, but it was a good day.

I have nothing to say to the critics, and mostly they are right. Today we won, and it’s a good day for us.

We suffered quite a bit today, but we deserved the victory. It’s easy to please our audience, our fans. If you give your all, they will be there. That’s what our players need to understand. To have the public with us, we just need to run, fight, and overcome difficulties. With this victory, we must forget about the good feelings and get back to preparing for the next game,” Amorim is quoted by Manchester United’s press service.
