“We are very pleased with our forwards' attitude in training and, importantly, their understanding of what we worked on this week. Everything worked well, and I am very happy that the guys were concentrated in this match. We really looked like a cohesive team.
Why did Bragara start instead of Nazarenko? We understood that we would be controlling the game today, which means there wouldn’t be much space for us. Therefore, in this match, we needed Bragara, who works well between the lines and moves quickly with the ball. It should be added that Nazarenko was with the national team. Those trips and travels—they needed to decompress, rest a bit mentally, so we gave our national team players a little break.
Through hard work and effort, we must strive for our ideal game. I believe that in the first half we had everything: moments, shots. The only thing that let us down was the finishing—due to a bit of nervousness from not being able to score. And after we scored the first goal, we found space particularly for Nazarenko.
