The head of the Professional Football Committee of the UAF, Oleg Luzhny, commented on rumors that his candidacy is allegedly being considered for the position of head coach of the Ukraine national team in place of the current team leader, Sergey Rebrov.
“Of course, I am pleased that there is such increased attention to me as a coach right now. But I would like to refute the statements of some bloggers; they are fantasizing too much by suggesting me for the Ukraine national team.
The national team has a head coach and a coaching staff, so this job does not interest me. My dream is to return to club football. And I do not hide this,” said Luzhny.
