The Ukrainian Premier League summarized the results of the 6th round of the Ukrainian championship, with matches taking place over the past weekend.
Determining the best players traditionally took place through a poll of representatives from Ukrainian sports publications. Each respondent named a trio of candidates for the title of Coach of the Week, a quintet of candidates for Player of the Week, and also formed their version of the symbolic team of the week.
The best player of the week was midfielder Mendoza from Kryvbas, who scored twice in the match against Epitsentr (5:4), while the title of Coach of the Week went to the mentor of Alexandria, Kirill NESTERENKO, whose team managed to draw with Dynamo in Kyiv — 2:2.
It is noteworthy that for the first time this season, there were no representatives from Dynamo in the UPL team of the week, except for the presence of the forward from the white-and-blues, Vladislav Supryaga, who is currently on loan at Epitsentr.
Team of the 6th round: Domchak (Karpaty) — Tanchik (Epitsentr), Pavlyuk (Metalist 1925), Baboglo (Karpaty), Miroshnychenko (Karpaty) — Tverdokhleb (Kryvbas), Izaki (Shakhtar), Buleza (Alexandria) — Veletien (Polesye), Mendoza (Kryvbas) — Supryaga (Epitsentr).
