This weekend marks the matches of the 7th round of the Ukrainian Premier League championship for the season 2025/26. In one of these matches, on Saturday, September 27, Karpaty will face Dynamo. The meeting will take place in Lviv at the Ukraine stadium, starting at 18:00.

In the previous season of the UPL, Dynamo managed to defeat Karpaty twice. The first round match took place in Lviv and ended with a score of 3:1 in favor of the capital team (goals for Kyiv were scored by Oleksandr Pykhalenko, Vladyslav Vanat, and Andriy Yarmolenko, from a penalty, while the only goal for Dynamo was scored by Oleg Ocheretko). Dynamo also won against the Lviv team in Kyiv, with a score of 2:0 (this time Vladyslav Vanat scored again, and another goal was attributed to Mykola Mykhailenko).
In the last round of the Ukrainian championship, Karpaty won away against Obolon (2:0), while Dynamo played a draw at home against Alexandria (2:2).
The main referee for the Karpaty vs Dynamo match will be Vitaliy Romanov from Dnipro. The Video Assistant Referee (VAR) system will also be used in the game, overseen by Dmytro Panchyshyn from Kharkiv.
