Famous French specialist Laurent Blanc has left the position of head coach of Saudi Al-Ittihad, as reported on the club’s official website.
The agreement with the 59-year-old Frenchman was terminated by mutual consent.
Interestingly, the decision to dismiss Blanc was made after Al-Ittihad’s first defeat in the current season of the Saudi Arabian championship: last Friday, the team lost to Al-Nassr (0:2). Before that, Al-Ittihad had won three matches.
