Empoli striker Bohdan Popov received his first call-up to the Ukraine U21 national team.
As reported by “Football 24”, the coach of the Ukraine U21 national team, Unai Melgosa, took notice of Popov and the footballer received his first call-up to the Ukraine U21 team.
The team’s next match will take place on October 10 against Hungary as part of the qualification for the European Championship.
It is worth noting that Popov has been actively showcasing his talents for Italian club Empoli this season: in six rounds of Serie B, he scored 4 goals.
