After the match of the 6th round of the Dutch championship between PSV and Ajax (2:2) which took place on September 21 in Eindhoven, fans of the home team attacked the officials of the capital club — technical director Alex Kruis and sports director Marijn Beker, reports De Telegraaf.
According to the source, the attack on the officials occurred on one of the stairways of the stadium. Kruis was struck on the leg, while Beker was punched in the body.
The incident did not go without consequences: PSV suspended the season tickets of the hooligans. Additionally, the offenders are banned from attending all stadiums in the Netherlands.
At the same time, there will be no disputes between PSV and Ajax: the management of the capital club has received official apologies, and in response, Ajax will not initiate sanctions against PSV.
