“I am surprised that a small number of players from our giants: from “Shakhtar”, from “Dynamo”… came to the U-20 national team of Ukraine. There is a certain level, as there were players from MLS and Spain in the national team, but also players from the First League of Ukraine played. Serious work is being done, and all players are under the supervision of coaches. The coaching staff is aware of all the players.

As for the young players from “Shakhtar” and “Dynamo”, I would have let them go to join the U-20 national team. I understand that for their career and development… It would have been important for me! Despite the fact that a player could be useful in the UPL, if there is an invitation to the World Cup… I would even encourage a player from my team to go to the World Cup,” said Hryhorchuk.
