In the Round of 16 match of the 2025 World Cup in Chile, the Ukrainian U-20 national team lost to Spain (0:1) and concluded their participation in the tournament. After the match, defender Vladislav Kisil shared his emotions with the UAF press service.
“Of course, we are very upset because we wanted to go further, but it was a tough match, and it turned out this way. For me, it was a very important game, as well as the World Cup itself. After all, it was my first call-up to the national team — and such a high level of the tournament. We knew Spain would play like this and we prepared for it. We played well, but we were a bit short upfront to level the score,” Kisil said.
