Vladislav Krapivtsov: «It’s very difficult to play without the ball, especially against a team like Spain»

«There is a certain emptiness after this match. The guys gave their all on the field. It was a good game, we had chances to score and equalize, but somehow luck was not on our side, and in the end we lost. It’s very difficult to play without the ball, especially against a team like Spain.

The opponent controlled the game throughout the match, and that’s really tough. The conceded goal came from a set piece that they executed. It seems to me that it was not a rehearsed combination, but rather an instinctive play. We were a bit disorganized in defense, perhaps we could have moved out of the offside line. We’ll look at it and draw conclusions.

If we take the whole tournament, we advanced from first place in our group, we did our best with what we had. I am very satisfied with the team. We were a bit unlucky with the draw, but you saw in the game that we also had our moments, and we could have gone through against this Spain,» said Krapivtsov.
